History of Hungarian Animation 1.

109 years. Hungarian animation was born 109 years ago! It has had its ups and downs over the years, but it’s still holding strong today. At some point Hungary was part of the “big five” countries in animation production worldwide (alongside Japan, the US, France and Spain), but the genre has seen some challenging periods as well.

Over the coming weeks we’ll review the history of Hungarian animation at Animatik – stay tuned!
